DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS NOVEMBER 9TH - NO EXCEPTIONS

What to expect:

This will be a fun weekend with some organized activities, plenty of free time, and plenty of things to do.

Friday Evening
Check in starts at 6 PM
Dinner is NOT provided
Icebreaker starts at 8 PM
Gerry will lead a devotional time at 9 PM with the weekend theme of "Practicing the Presence of God"
*Bring along a snack to share with everyone*


Saturday
There will be free time after breakfast with options that include disc golf and a Christmas card craft. At 11 AM we will have a low ropes course for people who want to particiapte in challenging themselves and working as a team! After lunch a variety of activities will be available like the climbing gym, archery, and a Crossroads floor hockey game.
We will have a talent show in the evening, so start thinking about how you would like to share your talent with Crossroads!

Sunday
Church service after breakfast
We will check out of our rooms before lunch but can stay on the grounds. We will have a CCC softball game after lunch if weather permits.
 

All meals will be provided in the main lodge in a cafeteria like setting. Meals are delicious and a great chance to get to know people better.

You have a variety of accommodation types to choose from. Emory Lodge is close to a hotel room setting, except, just like all the other Squeah accommodation types, you do have to bring your own bedding and towels. Finally, you could bring an RV and there is full hook up, or you could simply tent. For pictures of the accommodations see http://squeah.com/retreat/accommodations/

There are plenty of things to do at Squeah. There is a big gym where we can play floor hockey. There is also a nice climbing wall that we will make available on Saturday afternoon. There is a games room in the lodge for ping pong, fooseball etc. There is a big field for playing soccer or other fun games. 

 

What to Bring:

·         Clothing suitable for being outdoors, given the expected weather conditions

·         Bedding and towels

·         Toiletries (there is no soap or shampoo in the rooms)

·         A snack to share with others on Friday night

·         The right gear for the kind of activity you want to be involved in (good footwear for a hike, maybe a hockey stick for floor hockey)

Types of activities available: Archery, climbing wall, hiking, puzzles, board games, floor hockey etc.
