We will be headed to Squeah for our retreat this year to make it a little easier for some people to make it. We often have gone out to Squeah for a day to provide some maintenance help, and this year we are combining the retreat with our help day! Our food will be self-catered just like our typical Men's retreat, and by providing a little assistance for the weekend we are getting our accomodation for free, so the total cost for the weekend is just $75.
The weekend will start on Friday evening, with arrival around 7 PM or later. We will have a chance to get settled, hang out by the fire or in Edelweiss Lodge (depending on the weather) and an opening devotion on the this year's theme on "Fixing Stuff." On Saturday, after breakfast and a second devotional we will get sorted into groups and attack a few projects that Dale will have lined up for us. We will have different projects that will involve different levels of physical exertion and expertise. After lunch there might be a little more work to do, but there will also be plenty of free time to do stuff around Squeah.
After dinner there will be another fire and a chance to connect. Sunday morning we will have breakfast and a short camp fire service, followed by more free time. We will head home after lunch on Sunday.
